- Played in a local men’s football league as an eighth-grader
- Had 11 Division I offers, including Georgia and Kentucky, where he originally committed in spring of 2019 before flipping to the Gators later that summer
- Goods’ father, Bennie, played 10 seasons in the Canadian Football League as a defensive tackle for the Edmonton Eskimos (1990-98) and Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1999-2000); he also played the 2001 season with the Detroit Fury in the Arena Football League
- Three-time CFL All-Star selection (1994, 1995, 1996)
